The year 2024 starts with great satisfaction thanks to the numerous successes achieved by our wines, confirming our strong commitment to excellence.
Among the most important recognitions, we find the one awarded by Wine Enthusiast, the renowned wine magazine with a large audience of enthusiasts and industry professionals, which awarded 90 points to our Five Roses Rosato Salento IGT 2022, highlighting its extraordinary quality and distinctive character.
The stars of ONAV Prosit 2024, a perennial guide to Italian wines, include Messapia Verdeca Salento IGT 2022, Surò Susumaniello Rosato IGT Salento 2022, Five Roses Salento IGT 2022, Angiò Fiano Salento IGT 2022, Marisa Rosato Primitivo Puglia IGT 2022, and Saliscendi Primitivo Gioia del Colle DOC Riserva 2019.
The Surò Susumaniello Rosato IGT Salento 2023 proudly wears a significant silver medal from the Mundus Vini Spring Tasting 2024, one of the most renowned global competitions, confirming its excellent internationally recognized quality.
A golden triumph at the prestigious all-female competition “SAKURA” Japan Women’s Wine Awards 2024, aimed at expanding opportunities for women in the wine industry. The 11th “SAKURA” Japan Women’s Wine Awards 2024 awarded gold to Marisa Primitivo Rosato IGT Puglia 2022, Medaglione Negroamaro Rosso IGT Salento 2021, and Villa Santera Primitivo di Manduria DOC 2022. Additionally, Villa Santera Primitivo di Manduria DOC 2022 received special recognition for pairing with Japanese and Chinese cuisine.
At the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in the Rosé Wine Session 2024, the Five Roses brand shines with gold medals for both Five Roses Anniversario Rosato 2023 Salento IGT and Five Roses Rosato 2023 Salento IGT. Surò Susumaniello Rosato 2023 Salento IGT took home a silver medal.
Another significant international recognition comes from the Berliner Wein Trophy – Winter Tasting, the prestigious German wine competition under the patronage of OIV and UIOE. Gold was awarded to the two still Five Roses rosés and Donna Lisetta Negroamaro Spumante Brut Rosé.
Also, at the 5StarWines – Vinitaly International Wine Guide 2024, we received high scores for the 50° Vendemmia Negroamaro Salice Salentino DOC Riserva 2020 and Colpo di Zappa Primitivo Gioia del Colle DOC 2020, confirming our ongoing pursuit of quality and innovation. 5StarWines – the Book is the renowned wine selection organized by Veronafiere in collaboration with Assoenologi. It comprises a blind tasting event over three days with an international panel of wine professionals, and the official guide, 5StarWines – the Book, featuring wines scoring 90 points or higher.
The team also achieves significant milestones in communication: Vini & Consumi Awards honored our TV spot “Drink rosé, go yellow!” for Five Roses Rosato Salento IGT 2022 as the best TV spot of 2023.
These recognitions attest to the hard work and passion we put into the art of winemaking. We will continue to strive to offer exceptional wines that satisfy the most discerning palates and celebrate these successes as inspiration for our future.
